We Are...<\/h3>\n

We are a Bible-based church. This means we search the Bible for guidance and answers to life\u2019s biggest issues and how to know and do God\u2019s will.<\/p>\n

We are a Spirit-led church.\u00a0 This means we that we seek God\u2019s direction in our lives.\u00a0 We understand the Holy Spirit to be nothing less than God within us.<\/p>\n

We know that we are all sinners in need of a loving and forgiving savior.\u00a0 Jesus Christ loved us so much that he died so we could live forever with Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our Mission<\/u><\/h1>\n

We are commanded by Jesus through scripture to \u201cgo\u2026make disciples of all nations\u201d(Mat.28:19). This is our primary mission as a church, as part of the Body of Christ.<\/p>\n

We must seek out, find, identify, connect with, and ultimately bring to the lost the message of salvation<\/strong> through Jesus Christ. This is the Gospel that must be preached \u201cto all nations\u201d. By accepting God\u2019s gift of grace through the crucifixion for all our sins, and resurrection of Jesus Christ signifying our new life in Him, and by repenting for and turning away from the sins in our lives.<\/p>\n

This mission is not easy as Jesus told his disciples: Mark 13: <\/em>9\u00a0<\/sup><\/em>\u201cBut be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them. 10\u00a0<\/sup>The gospel must first be preached to all the nations. 11\u00a0<\/sup>When they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but it is the Holy Spirit. 12\u00a0<\/sup>Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. 13\u00a0<\/sup>You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.\u201d(NASB)<\/em><\/p>\n

After Jesus\u2019 resurrection he appeared to his disciples who still didn\u2019t understand what Jesus was about, and left them with instructions to preach the gospel.<\/p>\n

Mark 16: 14\u00a0<\/sup>Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15\u00a0<\/sup>And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16\u00a0<\/sup>He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.(AKJV)<\/em><\/p>\n

Our Community Challenge<\/u><\/h1>\n

Our church community is embedded in the larger Lake City community which is centered on Lake Pepin, the largest natural lake on the Upper Mississippi River.<\/p>\n
